Welcome to the Inherited Colorectal Cancer and Familial Polyposis (ICCFP) registry at Washington University School of Medicine and the Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center.
The registry was started in the 1970s by Ira Kodner, MD. It provides education and support to patients and family members with inherited colorectal cancer syndromes. The main purpose of the registry is to prevent colorectal cancer in you and your family through early diagnosis and treatment. In addition, the registry will provide you with opportunities for clinically relevant research on inherited colorectal cancer.
On this registry, you will find information on inherited colon cancer syndromes including:
- Familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP)
- Hereditary non-polyposis colon cancer (HNPCC)
- Juvenile polyposis syndrome (JPS)
- MYH-associated polyposis (MAP)
- Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (PJS)
We hope that this registry can offer you and your family members an opportunity to learn more about these syndromes and ensure that you are receiving the best medical care possible.
