The Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery invites you to join their team for the Colon Cancer Alliance’s 9th Annual Undy Run/Walk held in the Forest Park – Lower Muny Lot on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 9 a.m. (check-in starts at 7:30 a.m.).

For a fun twist on a serious topic, participants at this underwear-themed event will receive a pair of Undy Run/Walk boxer shorts. This family-friendly event is for people of all fitness levels, featuring a timed 5K run/walk and an untimed 1-mile fun run/walk. Join runners and walkers who will be wearing anything from their favorite running shorts to their wildest pair of boxers.

Your support of the St. Louis Undy Run/Walk helps to fund the Washington University Colon and Rectal Screening Program. Our goal is to provide colonoscopies to patients who do not have health insurance or who do not have adequate health insurance coverage and income to afford these procedures.

The St. Louis Undy event is currently the largest in the United States, last year raising close to $146,000 with more than 1,700 registered participants. This year, we encourage you, your family and friends to join our Washington University colorectal surgeons on the Siteman Cancer Center team, The Bowel Preppies.

For more information or to register, please visit siteman.wustl.edu and search “undy”.

New this year, the Undy Run/Walk is honoring colon cancer warriors by providing FREE registration to all colorectal cancer patients and survivors. You can contact the Undy team at 202-628-0123 x128 or email them at undy@ccalliance.org to receive your free registration code.
